Restaurant: Beloye Solntse Pustyni
Uzbek-Arab cuisine featuring laghman, manty and homemade fruit jams. Belly dancing and live music after 8pm. Noon-3am.
It’s said that everything in this restaurant, from the chef in the kitchen to the carpet on the floor, is Uzbek. Decent range of the usual Caucasian fare, although notably less greasy than the food some other places. The restaurant’s speciality is pilaf – there’s only one kind on the menu, but just tell your waiter what you want with your rice. Live music and belly dancing, ideal for when your dinner companions run out of conversation.
