Birds and Trees
Hidden in this camouflage are 23 local species. One of the trees is there twice, and a family of three birds are there. So are two cats, climbing up to get them, and one small flying mammal. Look across, vertically and diagonally. Hint: every square is used!
Latin and English
All trees are named in Latin. Can you match the proper tree to the common name? These are shuffled:
Fagus – Quercus – Salix – Ilex – Acer
Sycamore – Oak – Holly – Beech – Willow

Feeding Foxes:
- There are 24 different ways of arranging the queue. 4! = 4x3x2x1
- If the twins go together, there are only 6 ways to sort them; 4 times easier, not twice.
- There are 6 ways of dividing the meals up
- If the twins have the same, only 2 options are left.
Apologies: We wrongly offered Mayakovskaya without a photo. Here is a picture of one of the mosaics. Enjoy!
