Moscow and Montmartre, Never Far Apart
Photos Konstantin Provorov

On April 3, Russian designer Viktoria Savvateeva hosted a fashion show to unveil the autumn 08/winter 09 collection of her Mainaim clothing label. Accompanied by music that was heavy on the accordion and harmonica, various Amelies, Mireilles, and Marie Claires strutted up and down the runway in outfits clearly indebted to the cabarets and bohemian cafes of Toulouse-Lautrec’s Paris.
